“The Energy Bus” Chapter 17 to 24

Chapter 17 The Enemy is Negativity

Rule #5 Don’t Waste Your Energy on Those Who Don’t Get on The Bus.

I’ve been seeing more and more comments about this topic.  Don’t let negative people get you down.  Don’t focus on negative people, focus on the positive people.

During a recent illness I had, I was surrounded by many wonderful people who helped me during this time.  There was one person that was very negative and didn’t help me.  I wasted time feeling bad about the one person that didn’t help me.  The minute I decided to focus on and appreciate everyone who did help me, the positive energy returned.

Chapter 18 No Energy Vampires on the Bus

Rule #6 No Energy Vampires on the Bus

Similar to Rule #5.

Chapter 19 The Ultimate Rule of Positive Energy

Your positive energy, confidence, etc. is greater than everyone else’s energy.

Chapter 20 George Takes Control of His Bus

Saying thanks to your staff every day is not enough.  If you changed for the better, you have to show them you are changed.  Just like they say, It takes more energy to regain a lost customer. It is the same with direct reports and team mates.  If you lose them, it is harder to get them back.

Chapter 21 George has a Dream

Very short chapter to believe in the dream.

Chapter 22 Better Today than Yesterday

Since my business is Continuous Financial Improvement, you can tell that I believe that every person and business can improve.  Individuals can better themselves.  Businesses should strive to be better and keep improving.

Chapter 23 Feeling Good

He felt something was missing and Joy told him it was heart.

Chapter 24 Lead with Heart

I would substitute “passion” for “heart”.  If you believe in your heart that what you’re doing is right it comes out in action as passion for what you believe in.

If you are not with me you are against me.
