On June 19, 2015, Gerry Pandaleon donated 26 books, “Act the Part, Get the Part” by Linda Friedman to the Fe Foundation. You may remember this book from my earlier book blog.
The FE Foundation is a wonderful organization.
The Fe Foundation started in 2009 and has grown during this time. The highlights of this program are the one week preparation and experience at DeSales University and the four week paid internship program.
What makes this internship program special is the prescreening, application, interviews and matching of high school students with local businesses. Not to mention the mentoring and life-long impact it has on its participants. It is also unique in that the interns are paid by Fe Foundation so there is no cost to the participating businesses.
